Samsung Takes Over Malaysia’s Largest Underground Interchange Station, TRX Samsung Galaxy MRT Station

TRX Samsung Galaxy MRT Station to serve the Tun Razak Exchange international business and financial district as Kuala Lumpur’s latest central commute hub


Samsung Malaysia officially invites Malaysians to experience the unveiling of the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX) Samsung Galaxy Station on the MRT Kajang Line. This brand takeover integrates Samsung into the network of 29 stations along the TRX Station and Putrajaya line as well as into the daily commute of more than 220,000 daily riders. In attendance at the unveiling ceremony were Denny Kim (President of Samsung Malaysia), Elaine Soh (Chief Marketing Officer), Kevin Kim Tae Hoon (Business Director of Mobile eXperience) from Samsung Malaysia. Joining together with Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim (Chief Executive Officer), En Shahrul Fadli Omar (Chief Financial Officer) and Schrene Goh (Chief Commercial Officer) from Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp).




“The TRX MRT Station is a key station within the MRT network, as it has been designed to anchor the TRX International Financial District as well Kuala Lumpur’s latest major retail destination, offering great commercial value in advertising and marketing. We are pleased to welcome the globally renowned Samsung Galaxy as our Station Naming Rights and Station Domination Advertising partner at this station, now named TRX Samsung Galaxy MRT Station. Commuters accessing the station will now be greeted by Samsung Galaxy’s striking visuals and catchy advertisement adorning the space,” said Datuk Mohd Zarif Hashim, CEO, MRT Corp.


The TRX Samsung Galaxy Station is the largest interchange station between the TRX station and Putrajaya Line and directly serves The Exchange TRX, a world-class experiential lifestyle destination that sits at the heart of Tun Razak Exchange, Kuala Lumpur's international financial district. Commuters arriving and departing from the TRX Samsung Galaxy Station will be welcomed into a world of possibilities, powered by Galaxy AI.
